Kessben FC and the premiership has been hit with a tragic news after a young football player died a day after a league game.

19 year-old defender, Bartholomew Yeboah of Kessben died on Monday at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra where he had been taken to following complications from Sunday's Glo Premier League match against Liberty Professionals.

With seven minutes to finish the game in Dansoman, which Kessben lost 4-0, Yeboah was caught in a challenge for an aerial ball and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment

He was subsequently transferred to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital where he passed away at dawn on Monday.

Details of his death are yet to be communicated by the hospital.

RE:19 year-old Kessben FC player dies after game"......THIS IS IRRESPONSIBLE!!!
I BEGIN MY COMMENT WITH THE LAST SENTENCE OF THE ABOVE STORY. Details of his death are yet to be communicated by the hospital. Did the author found out if family of the player been informed of his death by a professionally trained doctor or the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital's spokesperson? i read the story and just said if the deceased were my brother or nephew , how would i have felt? Citi FM dont drive me away as many a radio stations have done with these type of irresponsible reporting!
