GFA President-Kwasi Nyantakyi

The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi says it is imperative the Black Stars win their friendly match against the Palancas Negras of Angola this Wednesday.

The Stars fly out of the country tonight to Luanda without Captain Steven Appiah and Samuel Inkoom who have been excused due to club commitments.

The Black Stars have not won in their last three matches and a lose against Angola would affect Ghana’s standings when the next FIFA Coca Cola world ranking is released.

“Our friendly matches are opportunities for us to try new players and to improve our FIFA rankings so we must  take this  friendly match very serious and make sure we win, we are mindful of the consequences if we lose this match so we will do everything possible to win” He told Citi Sports.
