Rawlings, the biggest destructive tool for the NDC

Former President Rawlings

The Member of Parliament for Bimbila Constituency, Domnic Nitiwul, says ex-President Rawlings would be the biggest destructive tool for the NDC in the 2012 general elections.

He noted that Mr Rawlings’ frequent outbursts, critical comments and criticisms of the Mills administration would not do the party any good.

He was speaking in reaction to Mr Rawlings’ comments in Wednesday’s edition of the ‘Daily Guide’ newspaper in which the ex-president expressed displeasure at the kind of people surrounding President Mills.

According to Mr Rawlings, such people are not committed to the ideals of the party and are only interested in selfish gains, adding that they are ‘traitors and opportunists.’

However, Mr Nitiwul, said if the ex-president continues behaving that way, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) may not even need to campaign to win the 2012 elections.

Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana Programme, NPP MP advised the ex-president to "sit back and act as a statesman if he wants to help our democracy." He stated that ex-president Rawlings cannot castigate the government and turn back to campaign on its behalf later.

“How would he come back to tell us that President Mills is a good man and that we should vote for him only to surround himself with sycophants again who would milk the country?" He queried.

Mr Nitiwul acknowledged that as an ex-president, Mr Rawlings has done his best for this country and that Ghanaians appreciate that very much.

“He has ruled this nation for 19 years, if he had any good thing to offer, he has done that already," he said, adding, "we thank him very much and we are asking him to sit back and watch others take over.”

But he was quick to add that if the ex-president does not heed this counsel “he would be the number one campaign tool for the opposition NPP during the 2012 elections.

CAN'T YOU SEE
Can't you see that what the man has been talking about is coming true? Mostly when he speaks it is not all that we understand because from others point of view, they think because chairman Rawlings is an NDC member he should always support the NDC in all things. For what some of us grow to know the man to be, he is straight in all things, he judges people according to what they do, not where they belong or come from. We must learn to follow this trend to allow the wicked to face the law, criticize the one who does wrong. This the man has done before and from all he has being saying it shows that he cannot rest until the right thing is done. Please let him be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It pays to listen
People go round saying all kinds of things abt ex-prez Rawlings but seriously all the issues that he raises are of genuine concern. Maybe he becomes overly emotional when he is speaking to some of these issues but there are 'always' some level of sound arguement in his utterances. It is however true that 'he who sits in the seat is the only one who can feel how hot it is', but again 'he who is making a path never realises how crooked it is unless someone behind him tells him so'. So if the NDC choose not to listen to 'the man behind them' , it will be dooms day for them in the 2012 elections.

I THINK THE MP IS RIGHT
Ex Prez Rawlings has ruled us for so many years and we thank him so much for all that he has has done for us. we are advising the Ex Prez to leave the Prez alone to rule his country. i would like to say a big shame to all those who commented unjustly to the mp's speech.

Credibility crisis!!!
It is only incredible people who rely on incredible news paper stories like those from the daily guide. The MP should rather concentrate on building his credibility and save from from all these trash!!!

One For You, Atta Mills!!!
Abraham Lincoln nce said, nearly every man can stand adversity but if you want to know a man's character give him power. If there is any one person in this country who has shown great love for Pres. Mills than possibly his parents, then it must be Jerry Rawlings. It is however surprising that Atta does not listen to him simply becos he does not want people to say that he is under Rawlings' control. Some one must tell Atta that some are in the NDC not bcos of him. As a matter of fact, there are some people in the villages who are not even aware that Mr Rawlings has left power some 10 years ago. That is to say, they still think he is the President. Therefore, any attempt by Atta and those sycophants around who cannot tell him the truth in his face to sideline him will spell a doom for the Party in 2012. Long live Jerry, Long live NDC!!!

Rawlings Issue
If Rawlings is trully the biggest destructive tool for NDC come 2012 then poeple like he the MP(Hon Dominic Nitiwul)needs rejoicing NOT worrying about.I think the MP will soon answer queries from his fellow NPP members for `DRUMMING` the Rawlings `DRUM`the same way others NPP members did in the 2008 general elections.

The MP of Bimbila is right
Rightfully, Mr. Rawlings have ruled for the longest period. Mills was his vice, he had confident in Mills and he supported him so much for him to win 2008 general election. Actually it's not very easy. Atta and the NDC was not having the confident of winning 2008 but due to some mistakes of the NPP they have found themselves in the BIG SHOE. They had no plans that is why they are moving like a snail.

DOMINIC NITIWUL: SHUT YOUR FOUL NPP MOUTH
BIMBILA MP- WHO APPOINTED YOU ADVISER TO THE NDC? HAVE YOU ADVISED YOUR COCAINE DEALING COMPATRIOTS OF THE NARCOTIC PEDDLERS PARTY TO RECOGNIZE THE HARM SUCH ACTS OF DRUG TRAFFICKING HAVE DONE TO THE YOUTH OF THIS COUNTRY? TELL US WHERE THE 77 PARCELS DISAPPEARED TO FOR WHICH THE LADY JUSTICE WHO CHAIRED THE COVER-UP COMMITTEE WAS INSTALLED AS THE JUDICIAL PRIMUS INTER PARES.ARROGANCE SUPPORTED BY JUDICIAL COVER-UPS WILL SPELL DISASTER FOR THIS SHAKY STATE. DOMINIC NITIWUL, HAVE YOU FOLLOWED PROCEEDINGS AT THE PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE OF PARLIAMENT? BETTY MOULD IDDRISSU CAN SHADE YOUR CROOKED COLLEAGUES FOR A SHORT WHILE BUT THE TRUTH WILL EVENTUALLY BE ESTABLISHED AT THE BAR OF THE PEOPLES COURT NOT YOUR N.P.P. PADDED COURTS. REMEMBER THAT THE REVOLUTION OF THE OPPRESSED PEOPLE WILL NOT BE TELEVISED. NITIWUL ARE YOU UNAWARE OF THE AQUA-VITENS RAND AND VODAFONE SHADY AGREEMENTS? WHEN RAWLINGS CASTIGATES THOSE N.P.P. AGENTS HANGING AROUND THE PRESIDENT IT IS BECAUSE WHEN WE ARISE THE TIDAL WAVE WILL SWEEP ALL YOU MURDERERS OF YA-NA YAKUBU ANDANI AND HIS 40 ELDERS INTO THE GARBAGE HEAP OF HISTORY. YOUR TYPE OF DEMOCRACY IS NOT WHAT WE EAT. TO PRESIDENT ATTA MILLS, WE SAY OUR PATIENCE HAS RUN OUT AND WE URGE YOU TO INVESTIGATE HOW CECILIA BANNERMAN IN 2001 GOT THE KUFFOUR CABINET TO RELEASE 2.6 BILLION CEDIS TO PAY SALARIES OF NON-EXISTENT STAFF OF THAT PUBLIC INSTITUTION UNDER THE MINISTRY OF EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL WELFARE. YOUR EXCELLENCY WE KNOW TOO MUCH WHICH YOU PRETEND WE THE ORDINARY PEOPLE DONT KNOW. I.C.QUAYE IS ALSO TALKING JUST AS JAKE OBETSEBI-LAMPTEY AFTER YOUR CORRUPT PRACTICES. JAKE OBETSEBI-LAMPTEY WAS IT NOT BECAUSE OF THE DONOR CRUMPS THAT YOU CONSPIRED WITH THOSE SURROGATES OF EUROCENTRISM THAT YOU AGREED THAT YOUNG SCHOOL GOING GIRLS IN THE AVEYIME-BATTOR AREAS WERE PRESENTED TO THE WORLD AS LIBERATED TROKOSI SLAVES? WHEN LIVING IN STONE HOUSE WE URGE YOU TO DESIST FROM THROWING STONES BECAUSE WE SHALL BE FORCED TO REPLY WITH ROCKS. A WORD TO THE WISE IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE NORTH THOUGH DOMINIC NITIWUL IS TRYING TO SAY THE OPPOSITE.
