It was all thrills and excitement at the Airport West Hotel on Saturday, February 13th as the city turned up to party hard into Valentine’s Day at Citi FM’s Pre-Valentine Pool Party.

From the artistes streaming through with sensational performances to the guys and girls enjoying the coolness of the pool, the Party was perfect toast to usher in the Valentine’s Day.   

Spearheaded by the finest female personalities in the Citi, Jessica and Caroline, the party attracted hundreds of the patrons; some of which clearly made the pool their abode for the night.

Patrons of the event were treated to good music, great food and drinks and lots of great music to which they grooved along to.

The DJs on the night, Will, Armani and Gadhafi, were simply impeccable in their selection of their music.

The Pre-Valentine pool party which was sponsored by Eva Sparkling Non-Alcohol Wine and Black Secret Makeup had guest appearances from artistes such as Raquel, Niimei, Okyeame Kwame and Morris D’Voice.

Patrons were treated to activities such as a unique blind date experience; where males had keys to open the padlocks of the women patrons of the event, a thrilling karaoke session and contests in the swimming pool.

Products from the sponsors including make-up kits and bottles of wine were distributed to patrons before the night was over.

It was a great night which ended in a mellow mood with patrons sharing in their love stories and feelings in the ‘love expresso’ moment.

As the night wore on, patrons could hardly be seen leaving the premises as great music lingered on through the night.

In an interview with Programmes Manager for Citi FM, Jessica Opare-Saforo, she noted that due to the high demand from the public there was likely to be another pool party on the 6th of March 2010.

She however declined to give further details.
