Authorities at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) will soon announce a date for the graduation ceremony of 2011/2012 batch of final year students.
The graduation ceremony was delayed by an industrial action by the members of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA).
GAUA embarked on strike on May 14, 2012 to back their demand for what they call a fair and non-discriminatory market premium for its members from the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC).
The university administrators have however suspended the strike in honour of the late President John Mills.
Speaking to
Citi News, the Public Relations Officer of KNUST, Ankamah Lomotey said a new date will soon be announced.
He said, “the new date will be announced in the next few days but in terms of admission, the time is not due because the results are not in so there is no problem with that.”
