Pastor Wengham now a Doctor
Pastor Wengham now a Doctor The Pan-African Bible Seminary has conferred an honorary doctorate degree (Doctor of Divinity) on Head-pastor of Cedar Mountain Chapel Reverend Stephen Wengham.

Pastor Wengham as he is affectionately called is host of Citi FM’s ‘This is your day’ dawn evangelical broadcast, and was awarded at a brief ceremony on Sunday, July 9.

In attendance were Dzifa Attivor, Deputy Minister of Roads and Transport, who was the special guest of honour as well as other dignitaries such as Dora F. Limman, former first lady of Ghana, Dr Edward Mahama, former presidential candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Michael Bansah, Director General of Ghana Prisons Service and a host of others.

The citation which accompanied the presentation ceremony acknowledged Reverend Stephen Wengham’s contribution to the expansion of the kingdom of God as radio pastor/presenter since 1997 and social commentator since 2004 as well as his contributions toward the development of Ghana as member of Ghana Prisons Service Council.

In an address to round of the presentation ceremony, The Vice Chairman and Vice Chancellor of the Pan African Clergy Council and Bible Seminary, Rev. Dr. Frederick Akakpo asked the clergy to use their pulpit to preach peace to ensure their inclusion in the governance process.

Reverend Akakpo also asked government to involve the clergy in policy and decision making other than just employing them to say opening and closing prayers at state functions.
