A mobile operator, GLOBACOM, is expected to finally launch its operations in Ghana on Thursday.
GLO announced it will launch its operations in Ghana on January 19th during the Glo-CAF Awards last month.
GLOBACOM had earlier indicated plans to launch its operations in Ghana as the sixth mobile phone service provider on November 17th 2011.
However, the mobile operator rescheduled the launch citing logistical constraints as its reason for the postponement.
The launch date of the company had been shifted severally.
Analysts have asserted that seemingly overstretched heightened expectation of Glo’s launch could work against the company.
GLOBACOM was granted the country’s sixth mobile license in June 2008 and has since been working tirelessly to launch its operations.
