Ghana’s rap Doctor, Okyeame Kwame has pooh-pooed information put out by TV’s entertainment programme “Hot Gossip” that he plans to divorce his wife of two years, Annica. “Wow, me break up with Annica?" he asked in shock.

"Am I so stupid to break up with such a sweet woman I dated for six long years before we got married?” Okyeame Kwame told Showbiz last Tuesday.

“Together we have a two-year son, a second baby is on the way and we are quite happy. Okyeame Kwame said it puzzles him why a station like TV3 would carry such a story about him.

He said TV3 called him last week to say they had heard he was getting rid of his wife to return to his old flame actress Nana Ama McBrown.

“I told them it was never true and that the last time I saw Nana Ama was three years ago. So why would TV3 say am still dating her”, Okyeame Kwame asked.

He said TV3 used a photo he had taken with Nana Ama McBrown some seven years ago as though it was current.

“Publishing such a concocted story that is likely to tarnish the image of other people is certainly unprofessional and I didn’t expect it to come from TV3. I am a happily married man and nothing is going to separate me from my family”.

Okyeame Kwame’s wife, Annica, was similarly surprised about the TV3 claim. She told Showbiz over the phone that she was not going to leave Okyeame Kwame “today or tomorrow”.

Showbiz efforts to speak with the producer in charge of the programme was abandoned after a long merry-go-round.
