Doctors at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital have successfully completed a surgery to remove the bullet from the Upper West Regional Minister, Alhaji Amidu Sulemana who was shot by armed robbers.
The Minister was shot last Friday shot by armed robbers in Fielmua in Sissala West where he also serves as a Member of Parliament.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council, Bakbara Tanko, Alhaji Sulemana is responding to treatment.
“He is currently at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and we’ve just brought him from the theatre to his ward.
They had to carry out a surgery on him to take out the bullets and that was successfully done.
He is currently doing well but just that he has been asked not to allow visitors.”
