Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel's new deli marked the start of the Xmas season by holding an open-house event, introducing invited guests to a lunch-time sampling of their extensive menu and Christmas specialties.
"The Deli" is a newly opened combination of coffee shop, sandwich bar and delicatessen, set in a sophisticated, contemporary atmosphere.
Open daily from 7am to 11pm, the eatery was a response to the need for a convenient place in the central business district for executives and civil servants to grab a bite and for those looking for a relaxing place to unwind after work and at weekends with their families.
The Deli also plans to start a delivery service for food orders within a 2 km radius of the hotel, in the New Year.
Guests at the event commented on the impressive selection of foods, the attractive surroundings and the mellow atmosphere.
Added to the Deli's array of different foods were festive treats and Christmas hampers, containing Mövenpick specialty brands and luxury items.
The Executive Chef, Walter Butti said, "We have on offer a wide choice of freshly baked international Christmas goodies, ranging from panettone and stollen, to minced tarts and apple cranberry puddings.
As well as our regular menu, we are doing our utmost to create seasonal novelties that will really appeal to our customers."
