06.50 - Initial results emanating from the constituencies indicates that aspirant NPP candidate for the Lawra Constituency, Anthony Karbo was unable to win the seat.

Elections in Ghana enters day two on Saturday with several citizens expected to turn up to cast their ballot following the adjournment of the process by the Electoral Commission in some areas due to faulty Biometric Verification Devices.

The elections were disrupted in several parts of the country following reported cases of late arrival of materials, faulty equipment, plus a number of other anomalies anomalies.

According to the Principal Public Relations Officer of the EC, Sylvia Annor, all Presiding officers had been instructed to arrange with the Police to take custody of all the ballot boxes and electoral materials to be kept at the Police Station.
