President's campaign team to meet press today The campaign team of President John Mahama is set to meet the press at 10 AM prompt on Saturday December 08, 2012.

The press conference will focus on pertinent issues arising from the 2012 Presidential & Parliamentary Elections.

The event, which will take place at the International Press Centre, follows the first day of voting which was chararterised by various anomalies including the late arrival of ballot materials and dysfunctioning Biometric Verification Devices.

According to aide to the President, John Jinapor, his boss is deeply concerned about the happenings in the polls and has expressed his deepest appreciation to the people for their tolerance and dedication to peace.

Elections are set to resume is various parts of the country where due to faulty verification devices voting has been put on hold at 7 AM.
