Dannex Pharmaceuticals Limited has taken a bold step in securing the health and wellness of the nation's security personnel and electorates during the December elections by donating drugs and items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the joint election task force made up of the police, military and other security services.
The items, made up of energy boosting drugs among others are meant to boost the capacity of the security personnel during the election period.
Presenting the items, Head of Human Resource Management at Dannex Pharmaceuticals limited, Gabriella Koranteng said they expect the items to go a long way to assist the operations of the personnel.
“We are here to contribute the little that we have as a pharmaceutical company toward this effort.
This is targeting the welfare of the security forces as well as that of the voters on Election Day,” she stated.
On his part, Director of Human Resource at the Ghana Police Service COP Hamidu Mahama expressed the Service's gratitude for the gesture and assured the public of the police services’ commitment to ensuring peace.
“We have prepared adequately and have put everything in place.
We are in touch with other security agents as we cannot do it alone since it’s an enormous task”.
COP Mahama further disclosed, “We will be working with the Fire Service, National Ambulance Service, the Prisons Service and the Immigration as well.
Therefore we wish to appeal to all to give us their maximum cooperation”.
