IEA debate: We’re ready for battle – PNC, CPP
IEA debate: We’re ready for battle – PNC, CPP The two female vice presidential candidates of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) and the People’s National Convention (PNC) have said they are ready to battle the men at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) vice Presidential debate on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, vice presidential candidates of the four political parties with representatives in parliament will answer questions on the state of the economy at the IEA debate in Takoradi.

The vice presidential candidate for the CPP, Cherita Nana Akosua Frimpomaa Kumakuma Sarpong has said she will perform just as well as the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Abu Sakara.

“I am ready,” she said.

“We will let Ghanaians know that we have the solution. The very reason people were impressed with Dr Abu Sakara was because of the substance of what he said,” the former queen mother said.

“When all is said and done, CPP once again will come out on top. I can articulate the message and my thoughts quite well but the difference will be the content,” she added.

The vice presidential candidate of the PNC, Helen Sanorita Dzatugbe Matrevi, has said her party will do well come Tuesday.

“We are still preparing and believe we will perform very well. The IEA has given us a set of topics to work on and so we are preparing them in relation to our manifesto,” she said.
