The Chief Executive Officer of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Professor Ohene Adjei has told Citi News
, the hospitalhas succeeded in taking care of its patients although it has undergone quite a number of pressures lately.
The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in recent times has been hard hit with strikes from the Junior Doctors, Academic Consultants, and the Government and Hospital Pharmacists who are still on strike.
But according to Prof Adjei, these pressures will not deter the hospital from giving out its best.
He said: “We have strikes in various forms and at times, there are cases where at times machines breakdown and as such we are not able to get the parts as quickly as we would have wished and there also cases where people talk of their salaries or at times their allowances.
But I always say that people will go on strike but I only hope that we will still be able to take of the patients.”
