Ashgold's CEO Kudjoe Fianoo
Ashgold's CEO Kudjoe Fianoo has been elected as the Premier League representative to the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association.
The election lived up to the prediction of a close battle between Fianoo and Asante Kotoko’s Kwame Baah Nuakoh with the former GHALCA administrative manager garnering 10 votes to Nuakoh’s four. The third candidate J.F Mensah polled two votes.
The seat became vacant after the death of Hon. Owusu Ansah and Fianoo’s election to the executive committee marks a return to the second most powerful body in Ghana football.
The election for the vice presidency of the GFA will be held on September 25 with Hearts Of Oak C.E.O Fred Crenstil tipped to win.
