Adele has recorded the famous James Bond theme tune for forthcoming movie Skyfall, it has been confirmed.

The 21 singer first set tongues wagging when she was spotted leaving London's MGM studios, where the film's soundtrack was being recorded earlier this month.

Now, Total Film have revealed that the pregnant star has indeed recorded the official song for the movie, also called Skyfall.
Adele follows in the footsteps of recording legends Tom Jones, Madonna, Paul McCartney and Duran Duran.

The last Bond sound track for Quantum Of Solace, Another Way To Die, was recorded by Alicia Keys and Jack White.

Skyfall hits screens across the UK on 26 October 2012.
