GABLS: BNI should release our colleague or else…. The Ghana Association of the Biomedical Laboratory Scientists, has also backed the decision by the Korle-bu Chapter of the Association to halt their services if the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) does not release their colleague, John Ekow Aidoo.

John Ekow Aidoo is alleged to have been arrested last Thursday by some officials of the BNI without reason.

In an interview with Citi News, the National Secretary of the Ghana Association of the Biomedical Laboratory Scientists, Victor Degenu demanded the where about of their colleague.

“Where is our colleague? We cannot guarantee our own safety at work. You inform your family you are coming to work and that is all about you. Today in this modern Ghana, you come to work and people come to arrest you without anything. We are not sure of our safety,” he lamented.

He called on the appropriate authorities to as a matter of urgency release their colleague who is in the custody of the BNI or they will lay down their tools.”
