Jeans have become a regular thing in the closet of most people and are considered a must-have.
They are comfortable, durable and incredibly snug and sexy when they fit you perfectly.
Finding the right fit is very difficult and thus question, “How do I find the perfect fit?”
With so many jeans on the market, it’s essential to do your homework well to get the right pair for your body type.
It doesn’t matter if you’re getting designer jeans or not; the key to ‘fabulosity’ is knowing your fit and strutting it right!
Jeans are easily one of the most versatile fashion staple there is these days.
You can wear your jeans to work, cocktail parties or even casual days spent running errands.
But until you find that fabulous pair, shopping for jeans can be a little worrisome.
Jeans that fit just right are tough to find anywhere, but especially difficult to find at thrift stores (bend down boutique), so if you're shopping for jeans, be prepared to look long and hard.
When jeans are too tight, they obstruct the free flow of air around your body thus making your body itch.
When they are too loose, they look very unflattering.
The perfect jeans however make you feel like a million bucks.
To find the perfect fit
If you have an hour glass body, don’t hide it; go ahead and show your figure.
A pair of lower-riding, slim fit, straight jeans is a great way of accentuating those curves while still looking natural.
If you have full curves, get a pair of slim fit, boot-cut jeans.
To really bring out your body’s zing, get a darker wash.
If you are plus sized, don’t go for baggy or skinny jeans.
Go for a relaxed fit - not too tight and not too lose.
If you have a long torso, go for the high-raised jeans that will make your legs look longer and leaner.
Do avoid super low-raise jeans, as this will only make your torso look even longer.
To determine the appropriate length of jeans, always try them on.
Put them against your side and let them drop to the ground (if you are not allowed to try them on).
If they do not go a little over your feet, grab another pair as they may hang when you finally try them on at home (because your backside will lift it up).
One last thing when buying jeans is to check your behind when you try them on (you can take your friend along with you to be double sure).
This is practically the most important part about shopping for a great pair of jeans.
The pockets should hug your bum and accent it.
If the pockets are not touching your skin and there’s space in the back, try another.
Great jeans should always lift and highlight your butt.
Shopping for jeans is tough as nails.
However, once you get the hang of it, it becomes less backbreaking.
