Having long healthy hair makes you a recipient of lots of compliments because in Ghana, not many women are privileged to having long, beautiful and healthy hair. With this kind of hair, you are often limited to the kind of hair styles you can wear them in.

Most often than not, women with long hair always wear them in a pony tail, or clipped with a hair pin or clips or worn down. But don’t get sick of being unable to wear your hair in different gorgeous styles; here are a few tips for you.

Braid your mane: For this look, create a deep side-part on the left side of your head and separate your strands into two sections. Take the left one and French braid your hair around the back of your head and secure it with a hair tie at the nape of your neck. Next, take the section to the right of your part and French braid it along your hairline, pinning or using an elastic band to keep it in place directly behind your ear. For a perfect finish, curl the hair that's left out of the braid.

Add a little bit of colour to your hair: For this look, randomly add some colour to your hair for highlights. You can use a coloured hair piece and stick it to your hair with hair glue. Or you can either die a few strands of your hair. This will give you a brighter look. You can dye them permanently or temporarily.

Fake shorter strands: For this look, wash and set your long hair in big, smooth rollers for super-bouncy curls that will temporarily shorten your locks by a couple of inches.

An Easy Updo: for this look, leave the hair that frames your face down, then gather the rest of your hair into a low, super-loose chignon. Then add some beautifully designs hair clips and pins to it. Remember, updos look more gorgeous when they're not too done.

Creative half-updo: For this look, part your hair down the middle and leave the front section loose and wavy. Tease the hair at your crown, then make a ponytail at the nape of your neck.

Bold accessories: For this look, just decorate your long hair with an eye-catching headband, beautiful and colourful hair pins or clips.
