The Senior staff expressed worry over the development saying its shows victimization.
According to the union, if the removal had anything to do with the pronounced unreliability of power then other heads within the power sector should also be fired.

The General Secretary described the termination as “unjust.”
He further added that that for the last three years under the stewardship of Mr Mensah the ECG has witness an enormous and verifiable achievements in the company’s history stating that “distribution losses had been reduced to 22.8 percent from 27 percent.”
