Probably Ghana’s most prolific francophone musician, S.K Blinks has endeared himself to many ardent lovers and fans of good music all around the country.
His versatility in the music industry has seen him succeed in an industry which has seen lots of high profile casualties.
It is therefore unsurprising, that the co-writer of hit song ‘Aha ye de,’ has joined the most acclaimed music genre in Ghana now, Dancehall.
SK Blinks, born Sokpo Kwaku Mawuli, has released a song titled ‘Atame’ further cementing his place as one of the most unpredictably versatile artistes of his generation in Ghana.
Asked whether he could now be classified as a Dancehall artiste, SK Blinks said that he was full of surprises and does not feel limited in music when it comes to any genre, so he will continue to do his best regardless the genre.
According to him “music is a feeling so when it comes to you, you unleash it, and you don’t pay so much attention to the genre but I think I will be doing Dancehall for sometime” SK Blinks revealed.
SK Blinks has already featured on songs like ‘Fakye’ (forgive) with Castro, ‘Tofee’ with Ofori Amponsah, ‘Atupan Jenje’with Obour, Samini’s ‘I love you (Yoterm)’ and Ruff and Smooth’s hit song, ‘Azingele’.
S.K Blinks will be hoping his new song ‘Atame,’ will be well-received and push him to further success in his already illustrious career.
