The official re-opening date of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) for the 2014/2015 academic year has been postponed to August 9 and 16 for fresh students and continuing students respectively.
This was revealed by the President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) of the University, David Boakye.
All fees for both fresh students and continuing students should be paid by the close of Friday August 25, 2014.
In an interview with Citi News, David Boakye indicated that “the heads of halls have requested that they need time to do thorough cleaning in the halls.”
He explained that “instead of coming on August 2 fresher students are to come on August 9, continuing students are now coming on August 16.
The changes on the academic calendar does not affect continuing Medical Students of the University.
